1. Copenhagen, Denmark
Since 1960 Copenhagen is creating bigger pedestrian zones by reducing highways, and today this city has the smallest number of cars in all of Europe. In fact there are 320km of bike lanes with plans of building superhighways for bikes so they can reach the suburbs.
